Live entertainment, molecular gastronomy, fusion dishes – you want it, Spice & Ice in Cluster A has it. In this beloved local restaurant, patrons come together to experience Indian dishes like never before. The chefs are renowned for their imaginative recipes which often sees Indian curries fused with other cuisines from around the world including Japanese Gyoza and Swiss Fondue. Of course, if you fancy a regular Indian dish there's plenty to choose from - but don't ask what spices they use as they won't even tell us.

Founded by local Dubai chefs, Bombay Bungalow aims to deliver modern Indian food made with traditional Indian recipes. Their menu is extremely unique as well as contemporary, as every classic dish comes with a twist. The food is so good that even the founders have their favourite dishes, with Fadi Haider preferring the ghee roasted coconut crab, while Marwan Istaitie believes they serve the best butter chicken in the whole of Dubai. If you fancy some traditional homemade meals with a fine dining twist, Curry Culture is the place to go. Their menu is packed with authentic Indian meals that are arranged to take you on a flavor journey. It begins with starters including ganga jamuna, tikka cholley and shammi kebab, then continues with "Mom's Kitchen" as the founders loved their mothers' recipes. If you're still hungry you can choose from the dhabbas of India, get a tandoori kabab or go for classic curries and biryanis. The choice is all yours.

With a kitchen led by award-winning celebrity chef Silvena, you can guarantee every meal from Omnia Baharat will be delicious. However, the plot twist in this restaurant's long story is that the food is also incredibly healthy – even the desserts are guilt free. Favourites amongst customers include the prawn biryani and the shakshuka from the breakfast menu, but if you go for the incredibly popular house burger then we can't really blame you.

While many Indian restaurants focus on a wide range of Indian dishes, the founders and chefs at Naya have decided to focus entirely on perfecting cuisine from Northern India. Situated in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Naya blends classic and contemporary perfectly both in décor and dishes. There's butter-based curries, dal, tandoori and almost every other Northern Indian dish you can think of, all created with precision and passion. Anyone who has struggled to find the traditional Indian treat ras malai is in for a great surprise upon viewing their menu too.
