Authentic Thai food is easy to find in Dubai, but when it comes to particular noodle dishes, it's always best to do your research. After all, how embarrassing would it be to get your Thai rice noodles mixed up with Japanese udon noodles? To ensure that never happens to you, here are the three different types of Thai noodle dishes you absolutely have to try.
1. Rice Noodles in Spicy Peanut Curry, Fuchsia Urban Thai
For comfort Thai food, look no further than Fuchsia Urban Thai – home to some of the most authentic Thai dishes in all of Dubai. Almost every meal on the menu has received an abundance of positive feedback both at the establishment and online, particularly the Panang curries, chicken wings and fried rice.
Of course, we're focusing on the noodle dishes this restaurant has to offer. There are plenty to choose from, but a favourite seems to be the rice noodles in spicy peanut curry dish. The noodles used in this dish are entirely gluten-free, and are served with chicken, coconut milk and zingy, spicy peanut curry. The entire dish comes together to create a fresh, filling and flavour-full meal.

2. Hakka Vegetable Noodles, Nom Nom Asia
Inspired by the bold, beautiful flavours and street food culture of south-east Asia, Nom Nom Asia is truly a fun place to dine. Not only is the atmosphere vibrant and soulful, but you'll also be able to smell all of the fresh ingredients and spices used to jazz up the dishes. However, finding out what actually is in the dishes is a little bit trickier as the menu isn't very explanatory because the exotic ingredients and secret spices are kept hidden.
So, when it comes to picking a favourite Nom Nom Asia dish you'll just have to go by taste. If you've got a hankering for noodles, we highly recommend their signature Hakka vegetable noodles. Like we say, we can't say what's in them but they sure are tasty!

3. Pad Thai Chicken Noodles, Thai Wok
Over the last few years, Thai food has become increasingly popular, with thousands of restaurants around the world recreating traditional Thai cuisine. At Thai Wok though, they've tried to stand out as the oriental gem at the heart of Dubai by creating the most intense, special flavours. This is all done by their incredible chefs Saing and Sanoi of Four Seasons Thailand, who are devoted to living up to Thai cooking traditions while embracing the coast of Oman.
Our particular noodle dish of choice is really quite basic: rice noodles stir-fried in a sweet tamarind sauce and garnished with bean sprouts and roasted peanuts. Now, beyond that you have the choice of chicken, beef, prawn or vegetarian – we went for the former. On top of that initial choice, you can add extra portions of any of the ingredients, as well as squid. The possibilities are almost endless.
