Halfway through Ramadan and summer has well and truly arrived. As usual, our Roos have been busy sampling some of the most delicious Iftar options in town! To keep our strength up, we also all spent a sweaty morning bonding at a company Yoga session! To recover, this is what we've been eating. Welcome back to 'Tried and Tasted'
#1 Taqado Box
Our Marketing Associate, Naz, is still hitting the gym hard and keeping her meals as healthy as possible in the run-up to summer! One of her go-to Taqado choices is this box. Naz says she loves that you can customise this to contain whatever you want! This time, she went for a pretty light filling of protein, guac and lettuce.
Naz's Tip: I wasn't feeling too hungry when I ordered this so I just got a couple of fillings. Sometimes I go all out and order a box with all the trimmings!
#2 Lean Broccoli Salad
Our Marketing Manager, George, has been sticking to salads recently to try and keep healthy for summer. He tried this lean broccoli salad for dinner this week and couldn't stop raving about it! It comes topped with balsamic glazed beef, blanched broccoli, crunchy capsicum and a delicious sesame oil dressing.
George's Tip: This salad comes with a drink. I always go for the iced coffee!

#3 Boneless Wings
Our HR Manager, Gemma, fancied a spicy snack this week and opted for these delicious wings from Kris Kros. Gemma says that they're pretty fiery as they come covered in dynamite sauce, so if you're not great with chilli, make sure you have a drink on hand!
Gemma's Tip: These wings are one of my favourite appetizers. Even though they're spicy, they come with a really cooling dip on the side.
Order from Kris Kros: Downtown Dubai
#4 Pizza Bufalina
Head of Operations, Lucie, enjoyed this pizza for her dinner this week. Made with a light, crispy base and topped with bufala mozzarella cheese, basil, tomatoes and a swig of extra virgin olive oil, this pizza has flavours classic enough to suit pretty much everybody's tastes!
Lucie's Tip: You can't beat the classics and this classic is my fave!
#5 Mucha Lucha Protein Bowl
Account Manager, Hala, kept her Friday night pretty healthy with this Mucha Lucha Protein Bowl. Fresh and wholesome, this dish is made with a combo of quinoa, sweet corn, organic eggs, tomatoes, feta cheese, sunflower seeds, crispy corn strips and a chipotle lime dressing. Hala says that she loves how this dish makes you feel smug about your veg intake for the entire day.
Hala's tip: My favourite filling is guacamole, but you can also get chicken, chilli con carne, steak, whatever! It's up to you.
Ok, you're already hungry, so you might as well read about what we ate last week.
